    Don Inotelli

    Episode 01

Jalonsville’s government pharmacist, in a lavish new pharmacy he credits to a generous “family” in Newark and to government aid. Louis is his “favorite Valex buyer” and Felicity his best Dritilla customer. He defends the government’s secret drug formulas, and drops dark jokes about concrete mixers, rolled-up carpets and his family’s “protection”, which Louis takes as confirmation of the rumours about the Newark mafia.

    Episode 03

Don tells Louis to stick to his Valex: missing a single day, he says, brings on memory problems. He sells Felicity’s unapproved pills for cash, hands Louis a government hangover cure, and steps out for a snack long enough for someone to break into his pharmacy.

He once saw Anna arguing with a man he didn’t recognise, and heard them use the word “Exit” several times.

“Jalonsville’s pharmacist. Don is a very respectable man around here. There’s a rumour saying he has some links with Newark’s mafia.”

    Trivia

    • In a hidden conversation he gives his name as “Don Inatelli” and his age as 38; the character list says Inotelli and 40.
    • Typing FAMILY or MAFIA in v1.2.3 gets a flat denial (“… I really don’t see what you’re talking about…”) and a note from Louis to himself: “I should call the witness protection program… in case I start getting too nosy”. His other answers give him away: Todd is “a privileged customer belonging to ’my family’”, the grocery is “not yet protected by my ’family’, but it’s simply a matter of time”, his “family” persuaded Fred Dridi to play at Orlando’s, and he has tested the luggage rack of Louis’ car with rolled carpets “and cement bags”.
    • Asked about his work, he is “Pharmacist by day and taxidermist by night”. Asked about Louis’ house, he knows the office upstairs isn’t finished, and Louis wonders how he has seen the inside.

    Typed words

Besides the topics on offer, every conversation has a keyboard. These are the words that get an answer that isn’t on the list, with every spelling the game accepts. Typing a topic’s own name picks that topic.
